GLLF Rules

My son or daughter has permission to participate in Greenwood Little League Football (GLLF) Program. I realize that this activity involves the potential for injuries, which on rare occasions may be severe, even fatal. I give my permission for medical attention to be given to my child in case of emergency.

I understand the possibility of injury, and will not hold liable any member, coach or sponsor of the GLLF Program.

I understand that the coaches and leaders of the GLLF Program are donating their time in an effort to provide the young people in our community with a quality football program. These individuals deserve courtesy and respect from the parents when dealing with the problems that may arise during the course of the season. Should a problem arise or if I have a complaint, I agree to abide by the following problem solving porcess:

1. I will ask to discuss the matter with the coaches after practice and out of hearing range of children.
2. If the matter is not satisfactorily resolved through the discussion with the coaches, I will then present the matter to the GLLF Board.
3. I agree that the decision of the GLLF Board will be final.

I will not curse, be rude or unbecoming when involved in the GLLF Program and I will help in any way that I can to benefit the program.

I understand that the players will be assigned to teams based on a “Player Draft.” The draft will occur prior to the start of the season. No player exchange between teams “for convenience” will be allowed.

I understand that there will be a fundraiser for the program during the year. To help offset annual operating costs, and to purchase new equipment, each player will be required to participate in the fundraising activities.

Players that sign up after the draft will be assigned to teams by agreement of the GLLF Board.

We strongly suggest that your player be given a physical if one has not been done in the past year.
